Our priorities are to serve those who do not have health insurance or who have additional barriers to accessing private counselling. Rabab holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and is currently completing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.

Rabab brings a thoughtful, culturally responsive, and compassionate presence to her counselling work. She is committed to creating a safe, collaborative space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges. She values meeting individuals where they are and believes that meaningful change can happen through both gentle exploration and practical, goal-oriented work.

Having grown up in Lebanon and later immigrated to Canada as a teenager, Rabab brings a strong appreciation for the role of culture, identity, and family systems in mental health. She is fluently bilingual in Arabic and English, which allows her to offer culturally and linguistically responsive support to clients from diverse backgrounds. Her lived experience, combined with her professional training, allows her to approach counselling with cultural humility, curiosity, and sensitivity to diverse worldviews.

She is especially interested in supporting individuals experiencing burnout, life transitions, emotional regulation challenges, and stress related to family and cultural dynamics.

Rabab’s approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and a strengths-based perspective. She strives to empower clients by helping them reconnect with their resilience, values, and inner resources, while offering structure and support along the way. Rabab is with Just Us from May to December 2026. She is located at our Fredericton office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Appointments are offered from 8:30am-4:00pm.

Kamala is a Licensed Counselling Therapist - Candidate who brings warmth, compassion and authenticity to her work with clients, offering a space where healing and growth can unfold. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from the University of New Brunswick as well as a Bachelor of Education from the University of Maine.

Kamala views therapy as a collaborative partnership, working with clients to address concerns such anxiety and depression, stress management, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship challenges, burnout and parenting stress. She draws from a range of evidence based therapeutic approaches to create individualized and holistic treatment plans that honor the mind-body connection. Her approach is rooted in empathy, curiosity and deep respect for each individual’s unique life experiences.

Kamala believes deeply in the strength and resilience of her clients. She is passionate about helping clients process difficult experiences, explore new perspectives, develop greater self awareness, build practical skills and reconnect with their sense of purpose. Her goal is to help clients feel empowered and supported as they create lasting change. She is committed to her own continuous learning and personal growth to best support those she works with.

Melanie (she/her) holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Winnipeg and an Honours Bachelor of Social Work from Lakehead University. She is currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.

Melanie is a compassionate, inclusive and grounded professional who takes a strength-based, person-centered approach to counselling. She focuses on empowering her clients to lean into their inner strengths to cultivate their innate wisdom and build resilience to face life’s challenges and transitions. She takes a holistic approach to therapy, incorporating the healing power of nature, yoga, creativity and mindfulness meditation, of which she is a certified teacher.
